Two novel alkaloids, named manadomanzamines A (1) and B (2), were isolated from an Indonesian sponge Acanthostrongylophora sp. (Haplosclerida: Petrosiidae). Their structures were elucidated and shown to be a novel organic skeleton related to the manzamine type alkaloids. Their absolute configuration and conformation were determined by CD, NOESY, and molecular modeling analysis. The microbial community analysis for the sponge that produces these unprecedented alkaloids has also been completed. Manadomanzamines A (1) and B (2) exhibited strong activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) with MIC values of 1.9 and 1.5 mug/mL, respectively. Manadomanzamines A and B also exhibit activities against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) and AIDS opportunistic fungal infections.  相似文献

We perform a survey whether higher dimensional Schwarzschild space-time is compatible with some of the solar system phenomena. As a test we examine four well known solar system effects, viz., (1) Perihelion shift, (2) Bending of light, (3) Gravitational redshift, and (4) Gravitational time delay. It is shown, under a N-dimensional solutions of Schwarzschild type very narrow class of metrics, that the results related to all these physical phenomena are mostly incompatible with the higher dimensional version of general relativity. We compare all these restricted results with the available data in the literature.  相似文献

A multi‐residue method has been developed and validated to determine 46 pesticides in spinach using liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. The method is based on modified quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe sample preparation, where high‐surface‐area graphitized carbon black was used first as sorbent material in the dispersive solid‐phase extraction. The method was compared with the quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe method. The morphology, surface area, pore size, and pore volume of the sorbent was determined. The results obtained show that the sorbent consists of high surface area (233 m2/g) and large pore volume (1.5 cm3/g). The calibration curve correlation coefficient (R2) of the method was at least 0.99. The average recoveries ranged from 74 to 116%, and limits of detection and quantification from 0.0001 to 0.002 mg/kg and from 0.0002 to 0.005 mg/kg, respectively. Using the method, the pesticides exhibited low matrix effect (< 20%), except for nicosulfuron (29.86%), methomyl (26.77%), and flufenoxuron (24.65%). The method showed better potential to remove pigments than the quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe method. It is demonstrated that the proposed method could be useful alternative for sample preparation of spinach and other matrices in future.  相似文献

During the last two decades, the industry (including scientists) has focused on diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating because of its wide range of application in various fields. This material has numerous applications in mechanical, electrical, tribological, biomedical, and optical fields. Severe friction and wear in some machine parts consumes high amount of energy, which makes the process energy inefficient. Thus, DLC coating can be an effective means to lower the friction and wear rate. Some important process variables that affect the tribological characteristics of DLC coating are adhesion promoter intermediate layer, substrate surface roughness, hydrogen incorporation or hydrogen non involvement, and coating deposition parameters (e.g., bias voltage, etching, current, precursor gas, time, and substrate temperature). Working condition of DLC-coated parts also affects the tribological characteristics, such as temperature, sliding speed and load, relative humidity, counter surface, and lubrication media (DLC additive interaction). Different types of lubricated oils and additives are used in engine parts to minimize friction and wear. DLC can be coated to the respective engine parts; however, DLC does not behave accordingly after coating because of lubricant oil and additive interaction with DLC. Some additive interacts positively and some behave negatively because of the tribochemical reactions between DLC coating and additives. Numerous conflicting views have been presented by several researchers regarding this coating additive interaction, resulting in unclear determination of true mechanism of such interaction. However, lubricant additive has been established to be more inert to DLC coating compared with uncoated metal surface because the additive is fabricated in such a way that it can react with metal surfaces. In this article, the tribological characteristics of different types of DLC coating in dry and lubricated conditions will be presented, and their behavior will be discussed in relation to working condition and processing parameters.  相似文献

Teflon AF 2400 films are known to imbibe solvents, making films in the presence of solvents less fluorous than they might otherwise be. Herein, we demonstrate that doping films with perfluorotripentylamine (Fluorinert FC-70) maintains the fluorous nature of Teflon AF 2400 and improves transport selectivity for fluorine-containing organic compounds. Density measurements on the FC-70-doped films reveal that free volume decreases dramatically as the dopant concentration increases (0-12 wt %) and then increases to approach that of pure FC-70. Remarkably, films from 0 to 12 wt % FC-70 have the same w/v concentration of Teflon AF 2400, indicating that FC-70 fills the free volume of Teflon AF 2400. This is consistent with the observed increased storage modulus and significant decrease (compared to undoped films) of solute diffusion coefficients in the same range of FC-70 concentrations. In contrast, FC-70 at concentrations greater than 12 wt % dilutes Teflon AF 2400, leading to a decrease of storage modulus and dramatic increase in solute diffusion coefficients. Sorption of chloroform decreases from 11.8 g of chloroform/100 g of film (pure Teflon film) to 3.8 g of chloroform/100 g of film (27 wt % FC-70-doped Teflon film), less than the solubility of chloroform in pure FC-70 (4.06 g of chloroform/100 g of FC-70). Solute partition coefficients from chloroform to FC-70-doped films generally decrease with increased dopant concentration. However, within a series of toluenes and nitrobenzenes, selectivity for F-containing solutes over analogous H-containing solutes increases as dopant concentration increases if the substitution is on the aromatic ring but not if it is on the methyl group (toluene). Transport (partitioning × diffusion) rates, as they involve both thermodynamic and kinetic factors, are not simply related to composition.  相似文献

Palladium and Fe3O4 nanoparticles were deposited on N‐(2‐aminoethyl)acetamide‐functionalized cellulose for use in a catalytic reaction. The catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, X‐ray diffraction, energy‐dispersive X‐ray analysis and transmission electron microscopy, and applied in the oxidation reaction of ethylbenzene at 100 °C using H2O2. Styrene oxide was obtained as the sole product of the oxidation reaction during 24 h. This reaction has some advantages such as one‐pot transformation of ethylbenzene to styrene oxide, high yield, excellent selectivity and magnetically recoverable catalyst. This paper describes the design, synthesis, and evaluation of transition metal complexes capable of recognizing flexible histidine-containing peptides in aqueous medium (25 mM HEPES buffer, pH = 7.0, 25 degrees C). When the pattern of metal ions on a complex matches with the pattern of histidine moieties on the peptide, strong interaction (K = 1.2 x 10(6) M-1) can be achieved. The complex was highly selective (> 200:1) in discriminating similar flexible peptides differing only by one glycine unit.  相似文献
